Christina “Christy” Gould Acuna passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the age of 58 in Boise, Idaho. Christy was born on August 29, 1967 to Nila (Owens) Young and Larry Gould in Rexburg, Idaho.

Christy enjoyed spending time with her family, she was definitely a family person, cooking listening to music, baking, car races, swimming, singing, and her Christian faith.

She is survived by her life partner; Bob Wheelock, mother; Nila Young, father and step-mother; Larry and June Gould, brothers; Dennis Gould, Royce (Heidi) Napolitino, and Victor (Laura) Napolitino, sisters; DeeLila (Erik) Brown, April (Jesus) Carrillo, Shalaine (Thad) Kress, and Shanel Gould, step-sisters; Diane (Dan) Sheirbon, Jody Young, Angelina Young, Rebecca Young, daughters; Rachel (Brian) Talbot and Shaina (Bobby) Weirmar, son; Jon, grandchildren; Kaden, Jaxton, Silas, Ryker, Ember and James, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who all will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Ellis and Lila Owens, Eldon and Ellen Gould, and step-dad Richard Young.

A celebration of life for Christy will be held later this summer in Kuna, Idaho.
