Larry Dale Armbrust of Chester, Idaho, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at his home at the age of 89. Larry was born on February 23, 1937, to Marion (Oppenheimer) Armbrust and Raymond Charles Armbrust in Norfork Nebraska.

Larry married Carol Ann Morey on December 19, 1958, in Chula Vista, California. Larry enjoyed being outdoors, living in harmony with nature, restoring old homes, coaching basketball, touching and mentoring those around him, with most of his love and energy to his family.

He is survived by the love of his life for 67 years, Carol; his four children, Michele, Tamra, Mark (Gina), and Blake (Annie); grandchildren, Sara, Tess, Matthew, Megan, and Kate, and great-grandchild, Oliver.

Memorial services for Larry will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 11:00am. Family will greet friends from 9:45am ~ 10:45am prior to the services, all at the Ashton Stake Center, 516 N 2nd Street, Ashton, Idaho. Larry will be buried in California at a later date.
